Agribot (agriculture vehicle for farming )
Agribot (agriculture vehicle for farming )

Introduction

Internet of Things(IoT) plays a crucial role in smart agriculture. Smart farming is an emerging concept, because IoT sensors capable of providing information about their agriculture fields. The paper aims at making use of evolving technology i.e. IoT and smart agriculture using automation. Monitoring environmental factors is the major factor to improve the yield of the efficient crops. The feature of this paper includes monitoring temperature and humidity and soil moisture in agricultural field through sensors and security related to animals through PIR sensor and pi camera. Here we are using arduino as the microcontroller and these data is send to the farmer through wi-fi to the blynk app

Working

In this paper we are proposing a novel method of making agriculture method smart and automation. We are also employing PIR to identify any person/animals in the field. Sensors are used to check the parameters like temperature, humidity and soil moisture. All these parameters are send to the android app through wi-fi(internet) to the concerned person. Along with sending data to the concerned person we are also sending an email alert to the person

FUTURE WORK AND CONCLUSION

For future developments it can be enhanced by developing this system for large acres of land. Also the system can be integrated to check the quality of the soil and the growth of crop in each soil. The sensors and microcontroller are successfully interfaced and wireless communication is achieved between various nodes. All observations and experimental tests prove that this project is a complete solution to field activities and irrigation problems. Implementation of such a system in the field can definitely help to improve the yield of the crops and overall production.
